The house
Experience life in a passive house
L’Ecologis was built in 2020 to show that comfort and low consumption go hand in hand. The house is very well insulated and a heat-recovery ventilation system constantly renews the air: it is pleasant all year round, with no draughts and no heating to adjust.
On the ground floor, a large open living space with kitchen, bar, lounge and wood stove. On the 1st floor, a master suite with shower room, two bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub. On the 2nd floor, a bedroom with desk, a shower room and a TV lounge.
The furniture, photos and paintings are the work of local artists and craftspeople. Meet the people behind the house

Good to know
Do I need to adjust the heating?
No, everything is automatic. The ventilation is set on the screen by the stairs. If anything is wrong, just contact us.
Can we arrive late in the evening?
Yes. Check-in is self-service; we send you the details before you arrive.
Are dogs allowed?
Not inside the house. They can sleep in the garden shed. The garden is fenced, but a dog can get under the fence.
Where can we keep bikes?
In the garden shed, which locks.
Is there baby equipment?
Yes: high chair, playpen, Babycook, changing table and travel cot.
Is the pond part of the property?
No. The path alongside it is only an access route to the house. Please keep an eye on children near the water.
